The Mantis and Her Boy
The Mantis and Her Boy is a surrealistic graphite drawing featuring a strange, almost architectural sky. It won first place in the drawing category at the St George Art Festival. While on display, I heard an observer proclaim "that's my worst nightmare". I found that odd given that my perception of it is more of intrigue, fantasy, and wonder.
